The intent of this template is to set out the subjects considered essential for permanent works designers to know so that they have at least an appreciation of the issues associated with temporary works. The detail under each head would be a matter for the training course provider. It is anticipated that this would be a minimum of one day or equivalent.

The course should be predominantly illustrated by examples with delegates engaged in short exercises where feasible, as the prime means of illustrating the key issues.

Course providers are requested to acknowledge the origin of their course (i.e. this template) but also make it clear that TWf does not endorse specific courses.
