Introduction
The Temporary Works Forum (TWf) is aware of the need for good quality learning material on temporary works issues. The more people across the construction industry that have an awareness of the need for temporary works coordination the better and safer things will become.

Courses
The following courses are available:

  • Temporary works general awareness, January 2022
  • The role of the designated individual (DI), April 2023
  • The effective management of scaffolding, February 2024

Target audience
TWf eLearning is available to everyone in our industry – and it’s free! It is aimed at students, graduates, supervisors, permanent works engineers, temporary works engineers, architects, commercial staff, HSEQ professionals, clients, TWCs, etc. Some courses may have a narrower target audience, e.g. the DI, but the courses are suitable for all.

How to take part
To complete a course, follow the link and register (see below). You can stop-and-start a course at any time, to suit your availability. Each course takes around two to three hours to complete all the modules. There is usually a quiz at the end of each module, followed by a short test at the end of each course to check the learning objectives. Upon successful completion, a certificate can be printed off or saved for CPD records. Enjoy!

Feedback
It is hoped that further courses will be provided by the TWf. Let us have your feedback via Email. This is a new venture, so we’d like to learn ourselves and keep the training relevant and up to date.

NOTE: This Email is not provided by way of a 'helpdesk' although is monitored periodically.
